Lady in White spotted on Doolittle Rd. – Edinburg, Texas
We’ve received yet another story about a lady in white. We just posted a story about a lady in white that you can read here. We also had a story sent in from McAllen about a lady in black. We want to know if any of our readers have spotted a mysterious floating woman like this before, please let us know here.
I moved to Monte Cristo Rd. in 2011. One night I was driving home going East on Monte Cristo coming from the expressway and was stuck at the light on Doolittle and Monte Cristo. The roads were empty but the light outside was decent. As I waited for the light to change I looked around noticing the roads were empty and it was only around 10:30 pm.
The light finally changes to green so I began to accelerate as there is another light within the same area that changes too. When I hit the 2nd light about to get to the golf course where I was living, I saw an old lady dressed in white. It happened so quickly that I had to swerved around her not even checking if there were cars next to me. The lady was around 15 feet in front of me on the inside lane (2nd from the shoulder).
She looked old with shoulders that were hunched. She wore a white dress that was more like a drape that covered all of her from head to toe. But I remember seeing that the bottom, where her feet should have been, was a red satin material. Also after I freaked out and called the sheriff department to report the lady, While I was still waiting for the light to change I realized she wasn’t there anymore. l also I realized she was moving but her body wasn’t walking she was floating. When I spoke w the sheriff department, I was frantic telling them I almost ran over an old lady. When I described what I saw, they were almost laughing but tried to hide it. Maybe it wasn’t the first time this had been reported. Apparently around the area a woman and her sons were murdered in their small white house within a block right off Monte Cristo.

one time i was going to take my son to school and i saw to my neighbors house and i actually saw the same lady in a white dress floating crossing to the street and i live on Doolittle rd and Benito Ramirez
this happened back in 2015
My sister n brother in law lived on doolittle many years ago and never did i see anything like this. And i started working at edinburg landfill which is located on 2812. Worked there from 2008-2018 that was my shortcut route since i lived in Alamo. I never saw that figure or lady id even cut through the canal thats around there going north… so i think this is nonsense. I GOTTA C IT TO BELIEVE IT.
I used to live on Richardson and Virginia Drive. (Not to far from the cemetery) I would take off to work at 3:30a. One morning I was a lady in a white gown floating in my back yard facing my daughters room. It was foggy outside and her gown blended with the fog. Wierd is that I couldn’t see her face as if it was blacked out. I got in my car and turn on the car lights but she disappeared. Disnt tell my kids anything to avoid scarying them. When I got home from work my daughter told me she was scared to sleep in her room because she felt someone watching her while she slept.
Hi there! I am the person who saw this lady. The pic posted was not sent in by me, it’s most likely a stock pic. I lived at the golf course for 5 years and only saw her one time. This was my first ever encounter with a ghost.
My apologies for giving inaccurate information on the murder that happened…. it just what I was told by others who lived on monte cristo.

I saw it too in 2012 when I lived in elsa. I was driving on monte Cristo going east at about 230am and I saw her. It happened so fast that I almost crashed. I believe you.
I’ve also seen her too…but back in 2012. Me & my friends don’t remember clearly if were headed to a party or coming back from one, but we saw that lady in white sitting on the side of the road & we were thinking if she needed a ride or something… We stopped a couple of feet away from her & looked back but she wasn’t there no more…..

I THOUGHT I SAW THE PIMP OF BLACK ONE NIGHT..FIGURING I WAS REALLY STONED!!!
My brothers saw the same lady but in brushline rd and was heading to 2812 they saw her floating but she had a dog running around her they saw her in was about 8 pm they were so close to her when they had here beside them on the window they saw she didn’t have a face it was all skeleton and she was floating real fast they push the gas petal and came screaming inside the house also 2 years past and they were all grown up went to see if they can see her and again saw her but she was cossing the 2812 and going north on brushline with the same dog and on those years their were no houses ..they decided to follow her and she would turn back and keep on going …that was the last time I heard I’m thinking it could be the same ghost
