“When I was 7, my family and I went on a trip and had to make a pit stop during the night. There was only one hotel open at the time, called The Emily Morgan. When we walked in, we all got a bad vibe, but we ignored it.
Later that night, the lamp and the phone kept going off. We unplugged them, but the phone continued to ring, and the lamp still flickered.
The next morning, while we were getting ready to leave, someone kept knocking on the door. Every time we checked, no one was there. We brushed it off at first, but it was unsettling.
Not long after, we started hearing a baby crying and what sounded like trumpets. When we called the front desk to ask about it, they told us there was no baby on our floor and no one playing trumpets.
On our way down in the elevator, it kept stopping randomly at different floors. When we finally reached the lobby and tried to leave, the elevator kept trying to go down to the basement. Eventually, the employees had to unplug it.
After everything that happened, we looked up The Emily Morgan and found out that it’s actually haunted.” Jane D.
