“In the early 2000s, while serving as a Bigfoot researcher with a Texas-based group, Bigfoot Bob was contacted by a woman named Debra about a disturbing experience she had decades earlier. The event took place in the early 1960s in what is now the Pat Mayse Lake area of Lamar County.
Debra and her boyfriend were driving through a wooded area when their truck got a flat tire. Her boyfriend walked to town for help, leaving Debra alone in the vehicle. As she dozed off, she awoke to a terrifying scene—a large, hairy creature attempting to drag her out of the driver’s side window. Panicked, Debra struck the creature’s arm repeatedly with a glass Coke bottle.
Moments later, two female Bigfoot emerged from the woods—one of them visibly pregnant—and began screaming at the male. The male released Debra and retreated into the forest with the two females. When her boyfriend returned, Debra was hysterical and later hospitalized. The incident was reported to local authorities.
When Bigfoot Bob interviewed Debra years later, she was in her 60s and still living near Pat Mayse Lake. She revealed that Bigfoot-like creatures continued to appear occasionally at the edge of her property, though she couldn’t be sure if it was the same one that had attacked her all those years ago.” -Bigfoot Bob
