The Creature Of Boca Chica Beach
Our next story comes to us from Brownsville, TX. Check it out. Could this be a Cadejo?
“Back in 2016, my father and I were at Boca Chica Beach in South Texas. For those who don’t know, it’s a very secluded beach with plenty of wildlife and rough terrain. Anyway, My father and I were looking for a good place to fish near the ship channel. We turned left at the jetties and hit a trail. As we followed the trail, I saw something black sitting on a hill.
As we got closer, I noticed it looked like a dog, or wolf. Similar to a German Shepard, but this canine was all black and 5X bigger than any dog/coyote/wolf I’ve ever seen. Just to clarify, there are no wolves in South Texas and coyotes don’t get very big. This unknown canine sat calmly on the hill overlooking the bay towards South Padre Island.
Then it got up and disappeared behind the hill. I have no idea what this creature was since it doesn’t fit any animal identification. All I know is I saw a large predator-ish animal out there and everyone take caution when traveling at Boca Chica, especially at night…” -Chris J.

I also have seen wolves in both Jim Hogg and Brooks Counties (both are in south Texas). I am sure both were Mexican Wolves, which look like huge coyotes. The illustration, however, more closely resembles a lanky Great Dane dog. Good artistic representation just the same. Very creepy looking.
Not to discount this interesting story i want to point out that there is a very rare and endangered South Texas Red Wolf which inhabits the coastal region. I have seen this enormous wolf twice on my Historic Palmito Hill not far from Boca Chica. Both times i got a good look at him as he showed no fear.
Creepy story I am also from the Brownsville area as well and boca chica beach is a main fishing spot for me and I have a story as well but not really like the one on here. One night my dad and I decided to head out to boca chica and it was about 11 pm goin to 12 and the moon was full out in the sky then we made our way to the ship channel jetties once we arrived there not one person was there at all we were the only ones at that moment when we realized we were the only once immediately we decided whether if we should stay or not and we ended up staying anyway but an hour passed not a single bite as we changed location and headed deeper into the jetties walking we setted up again and continued to fish a few minutes later we see this shiny white light looked more like a orb it was hovering on the other side which is south padre island jetties anyway we see the bright Light making its way to the end of the jetties on that side and it was smoothly hovering all the edge of the jetties and we thought it was a fellow fisherman but it wasn’t the light was moving too smooth on the edge to be a guy with a flash light so once we saw it we jis ignored it and 30 minutes later it was already 2:30 in the morning and we decided to call it a day and my dad shined the light by where our truck was parked and we saw something that had green glowy eyes jis starring at us by the rock we couldn’t see it’s body or anything cuz the rock was cover it from shoulder down but we definitely could see it’s head and eyes and as we kept yelling at it the glowy green eyes would disappear and reappear again as if it was bending down and taking peaks at us til this day we don’t know what it was it wasn’t no raccoon or animal of some sort because they dont behave like that and the feeling that night when we were fishing was a sinister feeling I couldn’t explain it
