“This happened in May 2023. In our house, we’ve had different encounters with what we call scary stuff, but the most recent one was this past May.
My father never believed any of the strange things we would see—until it happened to him. He said it was around 2–3 a.m. My mom had gotten up to go to the restroom, and just seconds later, he saw her return. Or at least, he thought it was her.
The room was completely dark, the only light coming from the moon through the window. He said he saw a woman who looked exactly like my mother walk into the room. Surprised, he asked, “¿De volada fuiste al baño?” (“That fast you went to the restroom?”). She gave no reply.
He was lying on his side, with his back toward my mother’s side of the bed, when he felt “her” get into the bed and wrap an arm around him. A few minutes later, the bedroom door opened—and that’s when his real wife walked in.
Startled, he quickly turned to look, but no one was in the bed behind him. When he asked my mom if she had just come from the restroom, she said yes. He didn’t tell her what had just happened until the morning.
That same night, in our room, my husband and I were asleep in complete darkness when he suddenly told me to turn on the light. I grabbed my phone and turned on the flashlight, but there was nothing there. I thought maybe he had felt a bug, but he told me that he had felt someone grab his arm and pull him. He was so scared that we ended up sleeping with the lights on.
The next day, while we were having a BBQ, my dad shared what had happened to him. We were shocked, because it turned out my husband had experienced something on the very same night.” -Anonymous
