There seems to be an up-rise in stories coming in about shadow people. A shadow person is exactly what it sounds like a dark shadow like figure, sometimes with a hat on. “In Early February of 2017, I was traveling East bound on Jasmine Street in McAllen, TX with my wife when I happened to notice something incredibly creepy in the backyard of a home located on the North side of the street.
Around 8:30pm, standing in the backyard was the dark figure of a man planking/leaning against the side of the garage of the home in question.
It looked like your typical shadow person, minus the hat. This thing looked like it was trying not to be seen with its arms hanging straight down, almost as if it knew I was looking at it. It looked dark and dense, darker than the night. It appeared to be at least 6 ft. tall.
I decided to circle the block and return to the location to see if it was still there, but there was no longer anything in the backyard. I always keep my eyes peeled every time I pass that house.

I had a run in with one. I wish this were not true because I wouldn’t wish this experience on anyone. I went out to Walmart one night with my 2 oldest daughters. We left the apartment complex talking and joking around. There was nothing out of the ordinary. When we returned. I parked the car and immediately felt like we were in danger. All three of us felt nervous. I told the girls lets grab the bags and get inside…fast. I was going to walk to a nearby soda machine to buy us drinks, something I did all the time because it was well lit. I decided not to because I couldn’t shake the feeling that we were going to get attacked. I swear it wasn’t a feeling of being watched. It was so strange. We all felt menaced. So as I was grabbing the bags out of the trunk I turn to look straight into a 6 foot tall black figure. It just appeared right in front of my face. It was blacker than black. It was solid. It was the shape of a person. it had a head, shoulders and arms. It appeared and then it disappeared in a couple of seconds. My daughters saw it too. I never moved so fast in my life. I got my girls inside and I’m happy to say We moved from that apartment complex recently. We had too many paranormal experiences, but not in the parking lot though.
