My cousin and I experienced this paranormal activity in Harlingen in late November 2014. It’s an event that we have shared with our family and have never been able to explain. It was an eerie experience that has luckily never occurred again, but it is also something that we can’t get our mind off of and can’t seem to understand.
One night the lights went out, we lit candles and sat in the living room for about 20 minutes before my cousin decided it would be a good idea to play hide and seek (something we always did whenever we were bored). I didn’t want to play because I was afraid of the dark. That’s when we opted for me using a candle. As soon as I grabbed a candle my cousin was gone. I was scared to say the least.

It’s hard to believe in paranormal activity, especially when you have never had a reason to believe in it. My story proved to me that unusual things can happen, here is my story:
A couple of my closest friends and I usually hung out around a campfire on Saturday nights to relax from the stressing week days. It was usually always the typical thing… we all crashed at our friend’s house and just enjoyed the cold weather in our boots and Carhartt jackets feeling the warmth of the bonfire at our feet. We usually stayed till the fire dies or till our parents decided when it was time to head home. However, on one Saturday night of November 2015, we decided to change things a bit and do something that would leave us full of memories.

Texas is home to several eyewitness accounts when it comes to different types of flying humanoids. From the Houston Batman to the Galveston Mothman, Texas has it’s fair share of terrifying and unusual cryptids. Check out this story below from a McAllen, Texas native.
“The day I left the valley I was in the backyard of my childhood home in McAllen, Texas taking one last look at my garden when I noticed all the neighborhood dogs started barking at once. I happened to look up and see a humanoid creature that had wings like a bat, but the body and head of a human.
This creature had legs I could see hanging down and what looked like hairless grey skin. It was just hovering over my house flapping it’s wings once every few seconds. I was petrified to the point where I could do nothing but stand and stare till it flew off going south.”
This is not the only instance of people witnessing flying humanoids in Deep South Texas. Have any of you ever seen anything similar in this region of Texas or anywhere else? Leave us a comment below.
“Ok so this happened to my friend and I around 2005 I was 20 years old. We had a couple of beers each earlier in the night so pretty much sober. We were driving on highway 59 right outside of Houston near an area called kingwood. This is the first time I have tried to write the experience down so bear with me and feel free to ask me any questions or details if you’d like.
So it was about 3:00am and he was driving I was in the passenger seat. It was a large 3 lane highway and was illuminated quite well with those ‘orange’ colored street lights. In the distance we noticed something in the middle of the freeway, it looked to me like a man on crutches and my immediate thought was that it was a bum or something. But when we got closer it was apparent that it was without a doubt not human.
