Orb in backyard

Here’s a story sent in from South Texas (McAllen). This isn’t the first story we’ve had of floating orbs from that region. Click here to read a similar story from Lyford, Texas. One early morning, about 10 years ago, I was hanging out with a buddy at my apt.  Actually, it was more like a guest house as it was located in the back of my best friend’s older brother’s house.  My buddy and I were watching television late one evening in the living room and I had the front door open to let fresh air in.  As we watched television, he suddenly freaked out and said he just saw a figure of a man walk by the door outside and then disappear.  We went outside to confirm and saw nothing.  Of course, the first thing I did was call him crazy, accuse him of just being drunk and dismissed the whole thing.

Then, about 2 weeks later we were hanging out again watching T.V. with the door open one early morning around 2:45 am when we heard what sounded like a grown 250 pound man stomping extremely hard through the yard and onto the small garden located just outside the front door.

We both heard the steps and looked at each other with a puzzled expression.  For a second I wondered if there was an intruder or maybe somebody running from the police.  So, I ran towards the outside and immediately looked out the front door and to my surprise, did not see any man or animal, but what I did see was truly fascinating and strange.  I saw a grapefruit sized orb of white light shoot up a tree and vanish before my eyes about 4 feet away from where I was standing.

I don’t know if what he saw and what we heard were related to each other, nonetheless it was a weird experience.  I have since moved out of that guest house and another friend of mine moved in.  I asked him if he ever experienced anything unusual and he told me that one night as he was stretched out on his bed, the window to the bedroom opened on its own.  This was on Cedar street in McAllen, TX.
