The author of this next story asked us to change some of the names to ensure anonymity. Nonetheless, there seems to be something going on in Deep South Texas. Check out this story from South Padre Island, Texas.
“Ok, well, this happened around mid-April of this year (2017). I was working overnight at the Shlitterbahn Beach Resort at South Padre which neighbors the Sapphire Hotel. My coworker, Bobby, and I were walking around the pool on the property and looking up to the Sapphire. He had said something like, “Imagine seeing a guy just jump off the rail at the very top.”
Hello everyone….I have a story but it’s not about this thing everyone on here has seen but it is something I can’t explain…I can’t really remember what age I was but I’m sure I was a teenager maybe 13 and this happened in South Texas Poteet-Von Ormy area to be exact.
I remember being on my friend’s street, which is the street directly behind my street and a vacant lot with trees is in between us. Anyway it was daytime maybe around 4-5pm. It was me, my older brother Andrew my friend Roger and his older brothers Andy and Joe outside in the street. We were playing football or throwing passes and now that I think of it no one else was outside at all. Well it started to get dark from what I remember kinda like when it’s about to rain heavy like dark grey sky. I remember looking up and noticed thick clouds and it being quiet.
“Hi, I have a similar experience. I lived in an apt on 11th St. in McAllen, TX. My boyfriend and I were in the living room talking and then all of a sudden a silver ball that looked like an orb bounced from the ceiling fan and flew straight to the front door and disappeared.
It looked so real, but it was weird because it came out from the ceiling fan and hit the front door. We thought the ceiling fan was gonna catch on fire, but the orb just disappeared. I also had weird ghost experiences in that apt. A little girl’s voice would whisper in my ear when I was going to bed, saying “Good Night “ or would have nightmares of a hairy figure trying to choke me.”-Irene

Here’s a story sent in from South Texas (McAllen). This isn’t the first story we’ve had of floating orbs from that region. Click here to read a similar story from Lyford, Texas. The following story has sound associated with it though, very strange. If you have a story about these strange floating orbs, we would love to hear it. Send it in to us here.
One early morning, about 10 years ago, I was hanging out with a buddy at my apt. Actually, it was more like a guest house as it was located in the back of my best friend’s older brother’s house. My buddy and I were watching television late one evening in the living room and I had the front door open to let fresh air in. As we watched television, he suddenly freaked out and said he just saw a figure of a man walk by the door outside and then disappear. We went outside to confirm and saw nothing. Of course, the first thing I did was call him crazy, accuse him of just being drunk and dismissed the whole thing.
Then, about 2 weeks later we were hanging out again watching T.V. with the door open one early morning around 2:45 am when we heard what sounded like a grown 250 pound man stomping extremely hard through the yard and onto the small garden located just outside the front door.
This story takes place at night, just outside Lyford, TX on FM 498. I was in my early twenties, and a group of friends and I drove out to a canal that we sometimes fished at. Upon arrival my friend parked his car on the concrete bridge, and we all got out. We were hanging out, listening to music, just killing time, talking about this and that. As my friends were talking, I looked down stream of the canal and could see the lights of a cars driving on US 77 as they sped by.
Marshall, Texas is littered with reports about the paranormal and supernatural.
Check out what Becky had to say about Marshall, TX.
“If you want to scare someone, you take them down Stagecoach Road. At night you stop the car, roll down the windows, and turn off the lights. The very last time I was there, we did this. We then felt the back end of the truck go down, like something was stepping on the back bumper.
